When massaged, it helps in increasing blood circulation, which in turn increases the strands. What’s more, it has softening properties, making it ideal for dry and damaged strands. In addition, applying it to the scalp will inhibit and stop the development of several bacterial and fungal infections.

  1. Wet your hair with water, then dip your fingertips into a mixture of castor oil and another oil, e.g. avocado, coconut, jojoba or sweet almond in equal proportions.
  2. Massage the mixture into your scalp for about 5 minutes.
  3. Use your fingers to spread the oil on the rest of the hair, then put on a shower cap and leave it for 20 minutes.
  4. Finally, wash everything with shampoo.
