TVN’s new program director, Lidia Kazen, decided that only three duets would remain in the program, and this is how she explained the reason for the changes in an interview with Onet: “I strongly believe that with three pairs of hosts, viewers will approach the program in a more personal way. These are not decisions taken from Sunday to Monday.
However, she also added that it is possible to add a fourth pair of presenters in the future. “We are thinking deeply about it, we have some ideas. It’s very likely that one of the holiday reporters will join us someday. I really like to give a chance,” she said.
In June, most of the dismissed presenters said goodbye to the viewers on social media. Such a person was also Andrzej Sołtysik, who did it in a very unusual way. He decided to issue a statement that he published on the profile of his wife, Patrycja Sołtysik-Czop. “Andrzej asked to tell everyone that although he won’t say good morning, he definitely doesn’t say goodbye,” the presenter’s wife wrote.
Since then, the journalist has not spoken publicly about leaving “DDTVN”. However, when he and his wife appeared at Party Fashion Night, reporters decided to ask him for details. “There’s a little more time, but we’re also busy, because we have new projects and new ideas that require thought and consideration, and talk. The situation is that it’s OK,” he said in an interview with Jastrząb Post.
On the other hand, when asked if he misses mornings in TVN studios, he answered briefly and to the point: “No, not really.” He later mentioned that this decision was also unexpected for him. He also hinted that he might be back on TV screens soon: I would say that every change is needed, even though it can be unexpected. Where you will see me – you will find out in time.
