Helena Englert will play the boy in the adaptation of the cult book. Did Krystyna Janda come up with this proposal?

The young actress emphasizes at every turn that despite having famous parents, she is in the place where she is now only thanks to her own work. The daughter of Jan Englert and Beata Ścibakówna became extremely loud last autumn, when the erotic film “Pokusa” directed by Maria Sadowska was released in cinemas. The 23-year-old played the main character – Inez, who tried to conquer the media world, getting into affairs with older men.

A few months later, another big production premiered, in which Helena Englert played the main role. This is an HBO Max series “#BringBackAlice” telling the story of a teenage girl who was considered missing for a year. When she found herself in mysterious circumstances, she forgot what had happened to her over the past year due to trauma.

This series was of particular interest to Gossip reporter Bartek Pańczyk, who had the opportunity to talk to the actress during the Party Fashion Night event. To the journalist’s statement that he would like to see a new season of her heroine’s adventures, Helena Englert replied: “I miss her very much too, but at the moment I don’t care [na temat kontynuacji – przyp. red.] not known”.

In the next part of the interview, the actress revealed what she plans to do professionally in the near future. It turns out that soon we will be able to see her on the stage of Warsaw’s Och-Teatr, where she will appear in the theatrical adaptation of the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding. However, the role she was offered is quite unusual – she will play the role of a boy named Simon. For the actress, however, this is not a problem, on the contrary – she is happy that she will be able to perform in the theater:

I am very happy that I will be able to come down to earth a little bit and work in the theater, which is the musculature of every actor – said Helena Englert.

Reporter Gossip was very impressed with this information. He decided to ask the young star if it was the owner of the theater, Krystyna Janda, who approached her directly with a role proposal. However, Helena Englert only looked at him with a sneer and explained that she had received this proposal from Piotr Ratajczak, who is the director of the play. The man was present at the Englert diploma exam at the Warsaw Theater Academy, and later decided to start cooperation with it.
