How to save salt in a salt shaker? Just a clever trick

It happens that when using salt, not much product comes out of the salt shaker. It may then turn out that moisture got into the product, which caused the salt to begin to clump. This makes it more difficult to extract it through the small openings of the container. How to fix it? It turns out that another food product comes to the rescue, and we are talking about white rice here. Just put a few grains in the salt shaker, which will effectively absorb moisture. This will stop the salt from flowing out of the salt shaker easily. When you use it, wash the packaging, put in new rice grains and then add a new portion of salt.

How to store salt? Always do one thing after opening

Usually, after opening the salt, we pour only a small part of the product into the salt shaker. Some leave the rest in the original packaging, which is secured with a clip or a rubber band. This is not a good solution. As a result, moisture can start to get into the product, which will cause the salt to clump. Instead, it is worth pouring the spice into a glass, dry container that is tightly closed. It would be good if it also had a silicone cover that will protect the contents of the box even better. You can also put a few grains inside if you want to be sure. Store the prepared container in a dark and cool place.
