Changes in “The Voice of Poland”. The viewers are on it. “Another attempt to raise viewership”

The new season of “The Voice of Poland” continues, and the performances of the participants provide the viewers with many extreme emotions. However, the most controversial are the new rules of the program, according to which jurors can block each other at the stage of the fight for a participant.

is the most popular music program of Telewizja Polska, which has become a career pass for many young, talented singers. A few days ago, the show returned to the air with a new jury and slightly modified rules, which, according to most, are completely nonsense and deprive the participant of the choice.

Everyone turned, but he could only choose between two jurors. The reason for the new rules of the program

22-year-old Damazy Wachuła appeared at the casting for the 14th edition (episodes available on ). Performing a cover of the song “Eyes Closed” from the repertoire of Ed Sheeran, he turned all four armchairs. The fight for the participant began with a short conversation to loosen the atmosphere. Coaches did not hide that they would like to have him in their team. Landberry seemed particularly determined, and even performed the song “Last Poem” by Kasia Lins with the aspiring vocalist. “I was supposed to fight for you, but when I saw you sing together, I don’t interfere anymore. I liked it – assessed Marek Piekarczyk, after which she spoke. “Damazy, you are very charming. One has to be born with it. You can’t learn that from anyone… – she started the statement, but she didn’t have time to finish it, because at that moment her chair turned around. As it turned out, it was blocked by Landberry. The situation repeated itself a moment later, but this time it was Tomson and they were withdrawn from the game by Piekarczyk. “I did it for him,” the judge explained. Ultimately, with only two coaches to choose from, the contestant decided to join the Landberry team.

Viewers outraged by the changes in “The Voice”. Not everyone liked the blockade

The new rules almost immediately aroused a lot of controversy and met with the dissatisfaction of viewers. What is the blocking principle? In Season 11, a rule was introduced that once the show is over, judges who want a contestant to join their team can mutually exclude each other from the competition for a candidate. To do so, they must press the button with the name of the trainer they consider a threat. Even then, viewers voiced their objections en masse, writing numerous comments on the show’s profiles.

This can hurt those participants who really wanted to get to their idol

It’s no exaggeration to focus on the ‘battles’ of the jurors instead of the participants

I am highly ambivalent about this idea. (…) This is another attempt to spin up the show and increase viewership, which will work to the detriment of the participants

– they protested under one of the videos published on the YouTube platform. This time, however, the chair of the coach removed by the competition turns over, which prevents him from continuing the conversation, giving advice or praise.

Fans unanimously claim that the rules so far have been fair and the production should give up the blockades. Under one of the entries on Facebook on the official profile of the show, a discussion flared up. According to Internet users, the new rule primarily affects the disadvantage of the competitor, who is deprived of the chance to make a choice according to his own preferences. After all, many take part in the show with the dream of being educated by a particular artist.

There are participants who dream of going to the team of a specific coach, so if he is blocked with a super block, not only does the participant have no chance to get there, it is possible that he will not even hear a word from this coach. I don’t like super block.
