To prepare a homemade desiccant, you need two ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen cupboards. Of course, it is worth choosing rice and tea with your favorite aroma. Each of these ingredients will perfectly absorb moisture and unpleasant odors. And if the tea is flavored, it will also wrap the interior with a beautiful fragrance. It is enough to combine dry rice with tea in the proportions of 2:1, and pour the ready mixture into linen bags. You can also use cotton socks. Packages prepared in this way are tied so that nothing spills out of them and you can spread them in places where you want to get rid of moisture. The cost of one such homemade moisture will be about PLN 2-3 per piece.

Tea tree oil, which has a bactericidal effect, is perfect for this role.
