I am the mother of 5-year-old Igor. My son is a long-awaited child. I have been trying to get pregnant for a long time. When I finally did, I felt the happiest in the world. I told myself that I would do anything to make him happy and not let him get hurt. I knew that I would not have an easy life because I would still look after my son, but his safety was the most important thing for me. Igor will soon leave kindergarten and start primary school. I just shudder at the thought.

I am against what our government is doing, especially in the field of education. I can’t imagine my child witnessing this circus. It’s worse to participate in it. He doesn’t want to send his son to public school. The Polish education system is a disaster. I am terrified that it still focuses on theory and not practice. Hardly anyone talks about these matters and speaks loudly about it, but I finally want to say a firm no. I’m tired of teachers who come to work as punishment and take it out on children. I don’t like cluttered lesson plans that prevent children from pursuing their hobbies. No child will say out loud that he has had enough, which is why parents should speak up and talk about children’s needs.
