concert at Odyssey

The Argentinian band Surfistas del Sistema returns to Guayaquil after 7 years to offer a musical show, today Friday, September 1 at Odisea Brewinglocated in the citadel Santa Leonor, Av Benjamín Rosales.

At 9pm, the group was formed in 2013 by Fran Frione, singer and leader; Cisco Achaval, drummer; and Rama Vázquez, will perform their most recent songs, such as ‘Abres el cielo’, ‘Moonlight’, ‘I don’t regret it’ and ‘Ariel’.

Stone in the city

Today Friday the 1st Allison Band visits Guayaquil with a show of stone alternative and hard core from Mexico. The band that has shared the stage throughout its musical career with groups considered references of the genre, such as Fall Out Boy, Bring Me the Horizon and Paramore, will perform at Sports Garden, located on Carlos Julio Arosemena Avenue.

Dance in Las Penas

‘Mobile Portraits’ is the name of the production that dance company En Avant presents from today, Friday 1 September, at 7 p.m. in Casa Cino Fabiani, located on Calle Pompilio Llona. The corps de ballet has curated this piece through a process that explores privacy, intimacy and the connection of bodies to space.

Entrance: $20

Programme: Saturday 2 and Sunday 3, two performances at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. per day

Children’s theatre

As a family option, and for the little ones in the house, attend the play ‘Bichitos en el jardín’, by the Papagayo Group, this Sunday, September 3.
