Meg Ryan’s long-anticipated return to Hollywood is fast approaching. The trailer for “What Happens Later” has just been released online, in which she not only played the female lead, but also directed and directed. She created it in collaboration with Kirk Lynn based on Steven Dietz’s play “Shooting Star”, who was also involved in the production.

The plot of “What Happens Later” focuses on the fate of former lovers who, due to an unfortunate coincidence, meet after many years at the airport. Blizzard causes all flights to be suspended until the weather conditions improve. Like it or not, Willa and Bill are bound to each other’s company. While waiting for an update on the situation in the departure hall, they feel awkward at first, but eventually they start talking to each other more and more freely.
It turns out that although each of them led separate lives, they still have a surprising amount in common. Analyzing their shared past and reminiscing about old times, they try to understand what really was the reason for their separation. This leads them to the conclusion that perhaps the meeting is not a coincidence, but destiny.
