After four seasons on the air, with each program becoming a network trend, Master Chef Ecuador grow in your proposal. This year, Teleamazon will produce its fifth episode of the cooking reality show, but unlike previous editions will feature celebrities from various fields as contestants.
“The intention is that the recordings will start between September and October. In this case there are no auditions or casting because it’s a Celebrity, in this case that modality doesn’t work. For Masterchef celebrity A list is made of personalities, with different characteristics, including cooking, of course, in different industries, and on that basis lists, selections and shortlists are made,” says María del Carmen Arellano, production manager at Teleamazon.

According to Arellano, the names of the participants in this new season are not yet known, but the group is expected to be between 18 and 24 people.
“The format has not changed, the rules are already set, you can take turns playing what the franchise asks of us. In theory, we should be ready to go on the air in November,” Arellano says of the program being recorded in Colombia, where the Masterchef studios operate.

The winning formula of the jury highlights Arellano, it is maintained. That is to say, Jorge Rausch, Irene González and Carolina Sánchez continue in this production with Erika Vélez, as the host of the culinary contest.
“We are putting together the new format, it will be sort of talk show between different participants in the different weeks, but the extra time format will no longer exist,” says Arellano.
