Pawłowicz and Schreiber hand in hand criticize Agnieszka Holland’s new film. “Leftist Film Lies”

The latest film by Agnieszka Holland, “Green Border”, qualified for the Main Competition of the 80th International Film Festival in Venice and in a few days we will find out whether it will win the Golden Lion. Meanwhile, production was discovered by Polish politicians – Marianna Schreiber and Krystyna Pawłowicz.

“Green Border” will compete with 22 other films The premiere in Venice is scheduled for September 5, but the production has been rumored for some time. This is a record of the situation from our eastern, Polish-Belarusian border. It is easy to guess that this is not a film praising the conduct of Poland.

Information about the plot of “Green Border” finally reached politicians. Krystyna Pawłowicz and Marianna Schreiber did not fail to express their – unflattering – opinion.

Agnieszka Holland’s “Green Border” criticized by Pawłowicz and Schreiber

Krystyna Pawłowicz usually does not mince words when commenting on current events. This time, her eyes fell on the production of Agnieszka Holland, which she called the film “a thoughtless, fake, irresponsible, shameful reptilian”. She has not been able to see the film yet (the Polish premiere is only on September 22), but she already has an opinion about it:

Your thoughtless, fejkowy, irresponsible, disgraceful reptilian is setting Poles on their defenders! Hunts down their families! He gives vile, lying arguments to the enemies of Poland! You have long ago excluded yourself from the group of decent people. You are sick with hatred for Poland – wrote Pawłowicz on her favorite medium, Twitter. He forgets that numerous refugee deaths in the forests on the Polish-Belarusian border occurred indirectly through the push-back procedure used by the Polish Border Guard.

Marianna Schreiber, persuaded to watch the production, stopped at the trailer and is also not delighted:

I must admit that I did it without enthusiasm, but I was tempted and watched this trailer. My first impression: WTF?? I had to check that it wasn’t the work of Mosfilm [największej radzieckiej i rosyjskiej wytwórni filmowej – przyp. red.] Honestly? I wonder if it makes sense to comment this lampoon on the Polish Army, on the Polish Border Guard. After all, this film looks like it was hatched from the chisel of a Russian propagandist. It is sad that Agnieszka Holland – an outstanding director (films such as “Europa, Europa” or “Citizen Jones” are excellent works), changes her career to a minor one – she wrote.

In the film “Green Border” we will see both the perspective of volunteers who help refugees, the refugees themselves, but also one of the guards from the Border Guard, securing the Polish border. Maja Ostaszewska, Tomasz Włosok, Piotr Stramowski, Agata Kulesza, Maciej Stuhr, Magdalena Popławska, Jaśmina Polak and Marta Stalmierska as well as foreign actors Jalal Altawil, Behi Djanati Atai, Mohamad Al Rashi, Dalia Naous and Joely Mbundu took part in the production. .
