Josh Seeter is dead. The former “Bachelorette” contestant was only 36 years old. In 2015, he tried his hand at a program in which a single woman – Kaitlyn Bristowe – chose her future partner from a dozen or so free men. Josh dropped out of the show quite quickly, but gained a lot of popularity.
With it came equally big problems. Josh Seiter in social media did not hide that he was facing a mental health crisis. He urged others to seek help, told what he was struggling with.
“Bachelorette”. Josh Seeter is dead
Sad information appeared on the model’s social media, posted by Josh’s relatives. They inform about the death of the 36-year-old:
All who knew him will confirm that Joshua was a wonderful bright light in this gray world. His fearless voice and unyielding spirit have helped thousands of people through their darkest moments to feel that they are not alone.
Emergency and support telephone numbers have also been added to the entry, where specialists are waiting to help people in crisis. Also in Poland such telephones work and you or your relatives can count on help there. Just four weeks ago, Josh Seiter wrote that he was battling an overwhelming feeling of inadequacy. Therapy helped him fight, after which he was supposed to feel stronger:
How can I stop conditioning my own worth by the acceptance of others? The answer to this question came to me when I started being honest with the world and started talking about my problems. And it’s better <3 - he wrote.
He described himself as a “survivor”, having attempted suicide two years ago:
My name is Josh Seiter and I am a survivor of a suicide attempt. I struggle with OCD, bipolar depression and generalized anxiety disorder. I’m not giving up, he said.
Five days ago, he urged people to smile – despite the fight against diseases.
