Without a doubt, 2021 has been the best year for Tom Holland. While promoting the new movie of Spider-Man, the 25-year-old actor confirmed that he has another big role on the way.
In an interview on the red carpet for a promotional event for Spider-Man: No Way Home in London, Holland casually told reporters: “Oh, I’ll be playing Fred Astaire”.
The script has been in the works for about a week, he says in a video posted by the Associated Press on social media. “I haven’t read it yet. They haven’t given it to me ”. Holland said Amy Pascal, producer and former director of Sony Pictures, had the script and they had discussed the role. “She made me FaceTime the other day. I was in the bathroom, ”he said. “And we had a lovely FaceTime, but I will be playing Fred Astaire.”
