It all started in 1965, when he was cast for the first time in a series of television theater plays. As agent J-23 in the ranks of the German Abwehr, he quickly gained popularity and recognition from viewers. – I got piles of letters that came to television, to the theater. In 1967, the actor began shooting the cult series (now available on the website), which not only strengthened his position in the industry, but also turned his private life upside down. At that time, he had already had an unsuccessful marriage lasting 12 years, the fruit of which was a son, Piotr. He approached new relationships with distance, but everything changed when Jadwiga Rutkiewicz appeared on his way, who was also divorced at the time and raised a 6-year-old daughter, Magda. The actor learned about this only after returning to his homeland. It was a huge blow for the young couple. After recovering from the tragedy, they decided to try for another child. It was only a few years later that the couple found out that the cause of their children’s death was a disease of the lymphatic system, from which Rutkiewicz suffered, and about which she had no idea. At that time, there were no drugs or ways to stop its development. Specialists spread their hands, gave her only three years to live.
My wife Jadwiga started getting sick in the mid-seventies. She was unable to give birth to healthy children. We found out about the disease later, linking it to the events in the delivery room. It was called grain
