rarely comments on the Polish cabaret scene, which also has mixed opinions. In a conversation in the podcast “WojewódzkiKędzierski” he allowed himself not only to criticize the Polish audience and the cabarets themselves, as well as .
Robert Górski criticizes the sketch from “J*** ć PiS”
The Świętokrzyska Cabaret Gala took place last weekend. The Young Gentlemen Cabaret group was just one of many performers who mocked the government from the first minute of the show. However, it was their sketch called “The Pet Shop” that got the loudest. Contrary to their professional colleagues, the Young Gentlemen shouted profanities directly from the stage, hiding behind a vulgar parrot, which made the audience laugh to tears. Unfortunately, the Świętokrzyska Cabaret Gala was also broadcast on Polsat TV under the slogan “Magical End of Holidays”. The words “fuck PiS” and “Ziobro, you f*** oj ****a” fell on the vision without censorship.
Robert Górski was asked in the podcast “WojewódzkiKędzierski” about the performance of his colleagues. Although he made a reservation that he had not seen this particular sketch, he did not fail to criticize his colleagues:
I just didn’t hear that. I think that’s a bit of an exaggeration. Sometimes I grieve because it all goes to my account too. I am responsible only for myself, I work on my own account, if someone does not like this cabaret, let them go to another one – there is the Hrabi cabaret, there they will probably not hear what you just said about PiS – Górski summed up.
At the same time, a moment earlier he also summarized the requirements of the audience who sits in front of the stage and listens to the jokes:
Cabaret is what the audience is like, it adapts to the audience. He goes overboard many times. But we know what the mechanism is – sometimes we play for a simple audience, looking for a simple joke and in order not to be booed, this audience is flattered – he concluded.
