The case gained more publicity when during the proceedings it turned out that Najsztub did not have a valid driving license, the document had been taken away from him a few years earlier due to other offenses due to which he exceeded the limit of allowed penalty points. To make matters worse, his car, which was involved in the accident, did not have a valid MOT and did not have an OC. Shortly afterwards, the media also circulated information that the hit woman was dead, but the cause of death was supposed to be bowel cancer, with which she struggled long before the event. The case went to court, and the journalist was to be responsible for causing the accident and not adjusting the speed to road conditions. The presenter commented on the recording in which Najsztub mocked Jarosław Kaczyński. At that time, he described the journalist as “a celebrity who fatally ran over an elderly woman on the seatbelt”. He was also accused of later “explaining by arguing that the old lady had entered the pedestrian crossing too quickly”.
Najsztub decided to put an end to this and, with the help of the Arbitror foundation, set up a fundraiser, from which he wants to allocate funds for a court fight against .

After years of hate and harassment on me, on June 18 this year, the station, through Adamczyk’s mouth, falsely accused me of killing a man on the lanes. I didn’t kill anyone, the victim suffered minor injuries, and the courts legally acquitted me. (…) Help me to punish the liars
