By default, this year’s “fourteen” is to be as much as the minimum pension, but the government has left a loophole, according to which it can freely increase it. So it happened. Recently, Jarosław Kaczyński that the 14th, which will credit seniors’ accounts in September, will amount to PLN 2,650 gross, i.e. approx. PLN 2,200 net. Unfortunately, not everyone will receive it in full, as there is an income threshold of PLN 2,900 gross. Above this amount, the additional benefit will be reduced according to the “PLN for PLN” principle, up to PLN 50. This means that people whose old-age or disability pension will exceed PLN 5,500 will not receive a penny on this account.

The “fourteen” can be counted on by people who will be granted the right to an old-age pension on August 31, or not only for seniors, but also for children. As the portal indicates, additional money can also be counted on by people who have the right to, i.e. after the death of their mother or father, also their own children, spouse or adopted children:
- up to the age of 16,
- up to the age of 25 if they are studying,
- regardless of age, if they became completely incapable of work before the age of 16, and if they continued their education, before the age of 25.

In the case of one entitled person, the survivor’s pension is 85 percent. benefits of the deceased, when two persons are entitled – 90 percent, and when three – 95 percent. What is important, all entitled persons are entitled to only one joint survivor’s pension. This means that, if necessary, it is shared between each entitled personeg child and mother. It will be no different in the case of the “fourteen”, which will also be divided in the same way.
