Representatives and fans of electronic music and the independent scene have a vibrant appointment this Saturday, October 7th Beakswhen a new edition of the Rotofest Festival. The musical encounter, which will last more than 12 hours, will take place in the historic Broken bridge from the capital of Azuaya (Avenida 12 de Abril, Bajada de Todos los Santos).
Among the musicians who will play at Rotofest are: Oliver HuntmanGerman producer and DJ; Pao Calderon, Colombian DJ and producer (named one of the best DJs 2023 by Billboard Latin America); DJ George Levi (Ecuador); Marcelo Garzozi, Ecuadorian DJ (resident of the Lost Beach Club, in Montañita); DJ Christian Cooper (from Cuenca, Ecuador); Ana Belen SaenzEcuadorian DJ and producer (resident of Bassick); DJ Maria de Grace (Ecuador); Najela Soir, Ecuadorian DJ; DJ ulloa (Ecuador).

This is the seventeenth edition of this festival born in 2006 in Atena del Ecuador, with the aim of making Cuenca a national and international benchmark for experimentation with the new musical currents of electronic dance and independent music. The first time the event took place was in Cuenca, according to a review of the meeting on the official website.
Over the past ten years, the festival has changed locations, always in Azuay, and now it returns to its place of origin, a fact that the organizers, Rollo Colectivo, also want to celebrate.
The Rotofest festival is free to enter, but there will be two additional paid events a day before and after the main event. The first is the Music on, which takes place on Friday, October 6. This is the official opening event in an exclusive space, for $15 per ticket (presale). The last meeting is After VIP, an exclusive session with the invited artists, $20 per ticket (presale). There is an open bar at both meetings.
