Complaints against Luis Rubiales, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), are multiplying. The manager, who has been at the center of controversy over his behavior during the Women’s World Cup final, faces other allegations of harassment.
The scandal surrounding Luis Rubiales and Jenna Hermoso’s controversial kiss has Spain worried about its bid for the 2030 World Cup.
Rubiales, who has refused to resign, now faces public complaints from Tamara Ramos Cruz, who was the marketing director of the Spanish Footballers’ Association and is currently co-founder of the Futbolistas ON union. She was the first woman to report it and admit that Rubiales humiliated her during her pregnancy.

Complaints against Luis Rubiales
Ramos was a guest in the Spanish program “The Last Night” and told how Rubiales constantly humiliated her, speaking derogatorily about her pregnancy.
The Spanish government believes Luis Rubiales must leave the RFEF after his FIFA suspension for his controversial kiss with Jenni Hermoso
She admitted that Rubiales excluded her from meetings, saying that they were not paying attention to her because she was “pregnant”, and came to disparage her intelligence. According to Ramos Cruz, this situation lasted for several years.
“He didn’t stop humiliating me, I wasn’t pregnant, I was pregnant. She kept taking me out of meetings like don’t pay attention to her, she’s pregnant, she doesn’t have a brain cell. I lived with these harassments and humiliations for six or seven years,” he said.

Ramos also made statements to “El Programa del Verano,” where he provided more details about the lawsuit he filed against the Spanish soccer coach. In addition, he assured that he was not surprised by the recent accusations against Rubiales.
“That doesn’t surprise me at all, more than anything because I’ve known him for many years and I’ve put up with it. What surprised me was that he finally did it publicly,” he said.
Jenni Hermoso’s confession about the forbidden kiss ended with the sinking of Luis Rubiales, the president of the Royal Spanish Football Association
He added that he suffered humiliation, beatings and words that he cannot repeat because of the schedule of the program, he pointed out that this was an unacceptable situation for a long time.
“He told me with sarcasm that he came to see that you came to put on knee pads and those are words that, first of all, no one deserves, and I’m even less of a professional to make what I did work,” she said.

Tamara emphasized that Rubiales asked her both intimate and uncomfortable questions, as if he wanted to know the color of her underwear.
“The truth is that you feel so (vulnerable) and as a woman, especially in the world of football, that we are few and with the power that he had and holds today, it is difficult to face each other.”

He mentioned that when he sued Rubiales that he had two young children, one of whom was a three-month-old, he admitted that he “had a very bad time.”
It was very difficult for him to make that decision because it meant losing his job. “I also sued him for terminating the contract, but he didn’t want to. He told me that if I left, he wouldn’t give me unemployment, and then I had to sue,” he explained.
The allegations of harassment against Rubiales have caused a great deal of controversy in the world of Spanish football. Football players raised their voices demanding a change in the discriminatory and macho culture that still reigns in this sport. (AND)
