Jadwiga Barańska achieved great success as an actress mainly thanks to the role of Barbara Niechcic in the series “” directed by Jerzy Antczak. Jerzy Antczak informed about his wife’s health via Facebook. The entry posted on Sunday, August 27, shows that the problems are serious. It started with a corneal disease, first in the left, then in the right eye. She reacted to the threat of losing her eyesight with the words: “Life without sight makes no sense. It’s better to leave.” As Antczak pointed out, he tried to distract his wife from unpleasant thoughts, which is why he proposed the idea of a documentary film on which they could both work. However, some time later, a dramatic situation occurred. The actress fell on the stones.
She lost consciousness and had to call an ambulance. X-rays were taken at the hospital and it turned out that one of the vertebrae was slightly displaced, and there was a fracture in the right hip.
