Zinnia should be planted directly in the soil, on a garden border, without prior sowing or subsequent replanting, which it does not like very much. Do it on a relatively warm day when the last spring frosts have passed and the temperature will stay above 16 degrees. The position for zinnias should be warm and, above all, bright, where the sun’s rays will reach even throughout the day. As for the substrate, fertile and well-drained with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5 will work best. By providing it with such conditions, you can be sure that it will bloom beautifully soon.

With the arrival of low temperatures, zinnias die and do not bloom in the next season, because they are annual plants. Nevertheless, you can easily make colorful flowers bloom in your garden soon. How? All you have to do is remove the seeds from them in the fall, when they have already withered and become dried. Do it on a sunny day without precipitation. Dry the seeds thoroughly and lay out in a dry place on the newspaper. After a few days, put them, for example, in an envelope or a sachet, where they will calmly wait for the beginning. Just make sure they don’t get wet, and you’ll be able to sow them in late April to bloom in June.
