The Blue Cafe band, led by Dominika Gawęda, performed a jubilee concert during the second day of the Top of the Top Sopot Festival 2023. The reporter of the Plotek.pl portal, Marcin Wolniak, decided to ask the band with 25 years of experience if they would also be interested in taking part in the “Doda Dream Show” if there was another series that could be dedicated to Blue Cafe.
“Showing the backstage of our work is a very cool idea”
The reporter first drew attention to the great shows for which the band is known. The founder of Blue Cafe, Paweł Rurak-Sokal, immediately picked up on this: “We would definitely consider such a proposal, we would discuss it then the three of us, but Blue Cafe always focused on the show.” Later in the conversation, he pointed out that the concert at the Forest Opera was a jubilee concert, so it was significantly different from the band’s normal performances, but it was still very energetic.
Dominika Gawęda agreed with the words of her teammate. She said that such a proposal would be great and the team would most likely accept it. “I also think that showing the backstage of our work is a very nice idea. It is also a form of education, because people can see what our work looks like and how we operate on a daily basis. I think it could be interesting,” she admitted in an interview with Gossip.pl.
“Doda. Dream show” is a program in which viewers will have the opportunity to see how Doda and her team are preparing for the first series of exceptional concerts of the star in three years. This time, the artist also focuses on dance talents from outside the industry. The first episode of the program will be broadcast on Monday, September 4 at 20:05 on Polsat.
