Recently, we conducted a street survey in which we asked Poles what ways they can save money. Some of the answers may surprise you. You will see this material. And what to do when we are not enough for the proverbial first? What solution do Poles have in this matter?
What do Poles do when they earn too little?
Some of our interlocutors said that everything depends on the person and the place of work. Sometimes it is enough to go to the supervisor, talk to him and ask for a raise to earn more, but it does not always work out. What would others do?
I think I would look for another job, especially when you have a higher education, some specialized and a chance to work elsewhere. However, if you work for the lowest national wage, then climb the ladder and, for example, try to become a manager from a salesperson.
one of the interviewees told us.
I’ve had more than one job in my life. It is hard, difficult, full of sacrifices, but you have to make some decisions. It seems to me that there is always something you can do – not sit around and say, “Oh God, I can’t do anything.”
– added another.
Another respondent stated that it is definitely better to have one good job. – “It’s better to find a job on the labor market, so that you don’t need five full-time jobs, so to speak, because you can get ahead of yourself” – he said.
Full-time or self-employed?
There was also a voice that it is definitely better to be self-employed than to work full-time. – “I can’t imagine going back. I didn’t like it, so I changed my job” – said our interlocutor.
If it’s a job I like and I’m doing something out of passion, I go to my boss for a raise. If this is not an option and the situation requires that I actually have to have more money, then I look for another job, maybe in the same industry, where they will just give me a little more.
– said one of the people we asked.
