Honey in hair care. How it works?

in cosmetics, it has a soothing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effect. In hair care, it is used as a natural humectant, i.e. an ingredient whose main task is to deeply moisturize and nourish the strands. Due to its sticky formula, it can be problematic in direct application, which is why it is most often a component of home masks. Recently, another method has also gained popularity. What exactly is hair honeying?

A trivial treatment for beautiful and nourished hair. What is honeying?

Honeying is an extremely simple procedure that you can easily do at home. It is perfect for dry, weakened strands. To make it, you only need good quality natural honey, preferably in liquid form, and your favorite mask or hair conditioner. All you have to do is mix both products in a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio, where there will be more honey, and then carefully apply it to the entire length of the strands. It is important that the mixture is thick enough so that it does not flow. Keep it for about an hour, then rinse and wash your head with a gentle shampoo. The last step is to apply an emollient conditioner. Repeat the treatment once a week. Regular use will make the hair regain its shine, regenerate, nourished and smoothed.

How else to use honey? Combine two treatments

You can also use honey in a different way, more precisely as a base for oiling. To do this, first apply the mixture to the hair, and in the next step spread the oil on them. The first layer will moisturize and nourish them, and the second will create a barrier that will prevent water from escaping from them, and at the same time reduce the risk of fluff. Keep it for about an hour, then rinse with plenty of water and wash your head as usual. The combination of both treatments will give really spectacular results.
