Antonio Banderas is a much-loved actor all over the world, but much more in Málaga, the Spanish city that not only saw his birth, but also grew gastronomically thanks to his investments that can create “before and after”.
And it all started in 2017 when the interpreter El Zorra opened an apartment above the restaurant El Pimpi and bought part of its shares from his manager Pablo Gonzalo.
Since then, Banderas has invested more than six million dollars in the reform of Real Club Mediterráneo and established other restaurants where he employed 350 people.

El Pimpi dates back to 1971, although Antonio Banderas and Gonzalo renovated it and currently the restaurant only serves traditional food from the south of Spain.
Every year, the “El Pimpi Fair” is held in honor of the fair itself in Malaga, in addition, they have individual dishes that do not exceed 28 euros and a menu for groups between 40 and 90 euros.
