The “Van Gogh Multi-Sensory Exhibition” has already visited Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, Las Vegas, Dubai, Berlin, Paris and £ód¼. Now it will be presented in Poznań. The play will be on display from September 16, 2023 to January 28, 2024.
multisensory uses the Digital Art 360 technology. Van Gogh’s works will be displayed on specially prepared screens placed on the walls and floor. Hundreds of the artist’s paintings will be presented in this way.
“In a specially arranged exhibition space on screens with an area of over 2,000 m2, located on the walls, but also on the floor, you will be able to see hundreds of works and literally immerse yourself in the world of images. All of the artist’s works will be displayed as large-format, vibrantly colored canvases.
While viewing the exhibition, visitors will be able to listen to the climate and get acquainted with the correspondence between the artist and his brother Theo.
“The entire visual cycle of the exhibition will be enriched with atmospheric, appropriately selected music and the voice of actor Robert Gulaczyk, who played the role of Van Gogh in the well-known Polish film from 2017. All this will introduce the audience to the inner world of the painter, improve the impression of modern communing with art, allow it’s better to appreciate the artist’s intricate painting style…” – We read on.
At the exhibition you will be able to see the most valuable works by Van Gogh, for example “Sunflowers”, “Starry Night” and “Self-portrait”. Ticket prices start from PLN 40.
Vincent Van Gogh is an artist who was only appreciated after his death. He painted a total of 2,000 paintings. One of his works, The Portrait of Dr. Gachet Vincent, sold 30 years ago for $82.5 million.
