Mandy Moore, who portrays Rebecca Pearson in The Way We Are, said: “Meeting Ron and working with him on our show was the greatest gift I could have received. He was pure magic – as a man and as an artist.”
The showrunner of the series also expressed his appreciation for the actor:
“A huge loss. Ron was the best of the best – on screen, on stage and in life. coolest. Nice and funny. And, my God, what an actor. I don’t think I’ve ever changed a single shot of him in editing…because everything he did was perfect,” Dan Fogelman tweeted.
Ron Cephas Jones also said goodbye to his friend from the set of the series “Truth Be Told”, Octavia Spencer.
“Ron was an incredibly talented actor and most importantly, a wonderful person. Every day on set with Ron was a good day,” she wrote on social media.
