A year ago, Mila Kunis, in an interview with Maria Shriver, host of the online program “Conversations Above the Noise”, revealed the reason. In an interview, that when someone told her that she “looks like an Eastern European person”, she didn’t know what they meant. She was an American and a resident of Los Angeles. But when asked where she came from, she replied that she was from Russia. As she herself admitted, she had several reasons for this. She also added that she would never say she was from Russia again. Together with her husband, Ashton Kutcher, she launched a collection to help Ukraine. Through it, over $35 million was raised.
