On January 11, 2013, Hanna and her friends went to the club. – She didn’t want too much, but eventually agreed, a little to the role of the driver for her friends. Once there, she decided to treat them to drinks. Two elegant men in suits were standing at the bar. One of them was tall, blond, and somewhat of her brother’s type, so he caught her eye for that reason alone, but it was her turquoise-colored tie that caught her attention the most: Hanna’s mother. From the beginning, Hanna’s relationship with Michał was difficult. The man was supposed to want to make her dependent on him and manipulate her. The man was the manager of one of the branches of a large energy company, and Hanna had been running her own beauty salon for three years. It turns out that Michał did not like the woman’s work. He was supposed to think that any male client was interested in her in a way he shouldn’t have. Over time, he suggested that she stop working because he was earning well himself. Soon, the degree of control that Michał allowed over the woman came to light. He always knew where Hanna was at any given moment, which made her afraid of him. Over time, the woman’s relatives began to notice disturbing bruises on her body. The police intervened several times during the riots. It also turned out that the man had another partner and child.

Hanna started attending therapy, and in December 2014 she moved out of Michał’s house and returned to her parents. – He came for several days. It didn’t occur to him that she wasn’t coming back. He threatened that if he wasn’t any other, he would drive under the house, stick out in front of the living room. In text messages he wrote: you know what I will do to you. The daughter was afraid for her life, that’s why she was at the police station, she thought someone would react – said the woman’s mother. According to Hanna’s mother, the woman was only given a business card and told to contact her if anything happened. Later, she called and went to the police station again, but the situation again remained without much action from the police. – Mrs. Hanna never told us that. We can’t do anything about someone who doesn’t want to report anything. When asked by a policeman how her former partner is dealing with her at the moment, she said that he writes that he loves her, later that he does not love her. He asked if she felt threatened by this gentleman’s presence. She said no, just that she didn’t want him to call her,” said Sgt. Agnieszka Semik from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Tychy.

She always wanted to finish everything, Hanna’s mother said.
