In May, Daria Zawia³ow released the song “FIFI HOLLYWOOD”, which immediately became a great hit. At the turn of July and June, the song was ranked first on the official Airplay list, i.e. a list of the most popular music tracks on radio and television stations in Poland.
In June, however, the second single announcing the upcoming release, “Broken Heart Is OK”, premiered. During the summer concerts at the Orange Warsaw Festival or Open’er, the artist also played a pre-premiere song “Bambi sarenka”, but the song “U mi na chacie” was released as the third single!
Daria Zawiałow takes us on a journey to New York
On the occasion of the premiere of the new song, Zawiałow posted an extensive entry in which she explains that her latest song is a kind of souvenir from last year’s trip to the United States. “I wrote this song based on my experiences, just after returning from the best getaway of my life in 2022,” she wrote.
This year, the artist returned to the USA, where she decided to shoot all the music videos for the songs that will appear on the album with the working title “Chapter ’92”. The clips for the two previous songs were made in Los Angeles, but this time Zawiałow decided to take us to the east coast, i.e. to New York.
Then I discovered a fantastic New York restaurant where they serve fabulous Katsu Curry. During the filming of the video for ‘With you at the cabin’ – 3 weeks ago – together with the entire production team, we went there for food. Fate so wanted that, quite by accident, Karol and I made a cover for this issue there – she described on Instagram.
All the songs that are created for the fourth Zawiałow album are created in cooperation with Bartosz Dziedzic, who is responsible, among others, for for the album “Małomiasteczkowy” by Dawid Podsiadły. The songs from the fourth album refer to the guitar music of the 90’s, and in the lyrics she decided to step out of the role of narrator this time and focus on her personal experiences and thoughts. The premiere of the artist’s latest album is scheduled for autumn this year.
