Top 10 Netflix not so obvious. Third place is a big shock

Two completely different productions went to today’s Netflix ranking, although in this case the entire ranking deserves to be described as “highly differentiated”. The first place is unlikely to be a surprise, while the third is not so obvious.

In the “Top 10 series in Poland today” tab, drama and comedy series are intertwined. There was also a drama and a high-profile production, which appeared on the website only yesterday, and has already managed to hit the first place in the ranking.

Quick jump to first place

I’m talking about, of course. The series tells the story of one of the most famous divorce cases of the decade. The series includes courtroom recordings, trial transcripts, as well as witness statements and evidence to incriminate each side. Within one day, the series went to the first place in the Netflix ranking, which is really hard to be surprised considering how much media coverage the divorce of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp has become.

The miniseries “Kill the Pain” took second place in today’s Netflix rankings. The six-episode drama is dedicated to the opioid epidemic in the USA. The production collects many positive reviews, including on Filmweb, where the average rating was 7.2.

Nobody expected this production

It may be surprising, however, that in third place among the best series was a production belonging not to Netflix, but to HBO Max. The series “Players”, consisting of five seasons, is a treat for fans of American football. Dwayne Johnson stars as a headstrong coach and former NFL star.

This is not the only HBO series that will be available on Netflix. Recently, Warner Bros. Discovery announced that it intends to sell licenses to Netflix for some series.
