Recently, Doda told the fans how she cares for her body and what products she gives up to keep a slim figure. “I don’t like sweets. I eat very healthy. Balanced meals, I don’t eat fast food, I don’t drink any sweet, carbonated things (…) For many, many years I have been drinking alcohol once every 3 months, once every 4 months. So four times a I believe that women over the age of 35 should give up meat and alcohol completely, and I did so, “she enumerated. She also added that she has been on a gluten-free and lactose-free diet for years and avoids sugar. Her habits were assessed by the doctor of dietetics Michał Wrzosek.
The expert assesses Doda’s diet: On the plus side, rarely reaching for alcohol
Doda’s restrictive diet undoubtedly brings results. However, do all the principles of nutrition she lists make sense? As Dr. Michał Wrzosek, a dietician, noted, “the plus is certainly the rare use of alcohol. “There is no really safe dose of it. Another advantage is reaching for fish in the diet. They are a source of polyunsaturated fatty acids with a multidirectional, health-promoting effect on our body. Doda also mentioned that she does not eat fast food and does not drink carbonated, sweet drinks. Health-wise, it’s very good.”
The complete elimination of sweets from the menu or the consumption of fruit only until 2 p.m. are issues that raised the expert’s doubts. The first one, because everyone should allow themselves to deviate from strict rules once in a while, it’s important from a psychological point of view. “Doda doesn’t like sweets, so she limits sugar to a minimum, and as part of something sweet, she eats fruit, more precisely fructose, only until 2:00 p.m. From a dietary point of view, there is no need. “Nothing bad will happen to us. As for the sugar itself, and more precisely simple sugars – it is worth limiting them in the diet. On a daily basis, it is worth focusing on complex carbohydrates, for example in vegetables, fruits and whole grain products” – he explained.
Doda advises women over 35 to give up meat
Wrzosek also referred to the issue of giving up meat after the age of 35. “As for meat, women over 35 do not have to give it up, but it is worth focusing on lean, white species, and avoiding red meat and its products, which are potentially carcinogenic. Doda also said that she follows a lactose and gluten-free diet “It is worth emphasizing that lactose in the diet should be limited or eliminated, depending on the degree of intolerance to this sugar. And as for gluten – healthy people do not have to limit it in their diet” – he noted.
