For the sentimental song “Gelato”, which heralds the album “1-800-OŚWIECENIE”, a music video was created, which was invented and directed by the rapper’s partner. On this occasion, Iga Lis posted an extensive entry on Instagram, in which she described the history of the creation of this undertaking:
Ever since I heard ‘Gelato’ for the first time, I immediately dreamed of creating a picture for this track. At that time, I was at the beginning of work on my first documentary, which takes place by the Polish seaside, and it was in this world that I wanted to set the story of ‘Gelato’, we read.
“This clip is a journey for me to the times of carefree childhood. I don’t think I want to write more, because I’m curious what you will find in it. For a thousand and several dozen days (heh) I have been proudly watching how much heart Filip puts into creating I’m glad that I could contribute to this very important project for me. It’s fun to create in a team. Thank you to Janas and Filip for their trust. Thank you to the large team of wonderful people with whom I had the honor to co-create this music video. I’m so happy “- finished her post.
There are a lot of flattering comments under the post. The most touching one comes from a well-known journalist – Kinga Rusin, who is the mother of the 23-year-old director. “Iga, that’s great! I’m so proud! Of you! Of you! My eyes glazed over…” – she commented. Taco Hemingway also showed gratitude to his girlfriend, writing under the entry: “Thank you, Igiś”. The couple is very careful about their privacy, but hopefully we’ll be able to see more of their work together in the future.
