‘My name is’: The impersonator match opens the special stage, there will be no more elimination gala

This week the reality of followers My name is (Teleamazon) has just given way to a new phase in the competitions. From now on, the followers will no longer be sentenced to the elimination gala, but will instead be placed daily for the big qualifying gala. In addition, from then on, the public will participate with their vote until the last week of the competition.

Today the dreaded counter screen was also inaugurated, with which the participants compete against the original artist: one part is sung by the participant, another part is sung by the real artist who sings along live in a concert. The idea is to compare the interpretation and the voices between the two, with the intention of not noticing the difference (which is why the imitation is excellent). The counter screen also serves to compare the costumes of the contestants, who literally try to recreate each celebrity’s outfits.

The first to take the stage was Danna Paola, with the theme ordinary love. However, only one could be the night’s favourite, a title that fell to Manuel Turizo’s show. Danna Paola, Isabel Pantoja and Sting head to the first qualifying gala. The first seed, on the other hand, who goes straight to the final week of the competition, is Luis Fonsi.
