The tiny kitten was orphaned shortly after birth
Volunteers from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington gave the kitten proper care. He was only two days old when he arrived at their center. On the street, without their help, he might not survive. Colin was bottle-fed for the first few weeks. Thanks to this, he was healthy and began to gain weight quickly.
After a few weeks, however, something happened that affected Colin’s whole life. Penny, one of the Animal Welfare League of Arlington volunteers, decided to adopt some kittens. The woman previously owned Guillermo, Laszlo, Nandora and Nadia. Colin also joined this group. As Penny points out, she noticed that the tabby kitten in particular lacked feline companionship. So she decided to take him home.

It turned out that the woman’s idea was a hit. The kittens liked it very much. When Colin found himself in Pena’s house, he immediately began to encourage other animals to play and was quickly accepted by them. As the volunteer recalls, the cats behaved as if they had known each other since birth. Today they make up a happy cat family.
