It was a hot day, so they decided to take advantage of it by spending time on a motorboat on Lake Dadaj near Biskupiec. In addition to the artist and his 4-year-old son, the owner of the boat and his 5-year-old daughter were also on board.
At some point, they decided to change the location. However, the man had not ventilated the engine beforehand, and the consequences of this neglect were tragic. As soon as he started the motorboat, there was an explosion due to the gasoline vapors heated up in the tank. The musician’s son and the girl did not survive the accident. Pospieszalski could not come to terms with the tragedy. He sought solace in faith, which had always been a huge part of his life. “I felt a power I had never had before. God gave it to me. The tragedy made the artist completely re-evaluate his life. Previously, he focused mainly on his career, touring regularly, which meant that he was rarely at home, and this negatively affected his marriage. The death of one of his children made him slow down his professional pace to devote more time to his loved ones. He gave up drugs, stopped partying and decided to rebuild his relationship with his wife. “In the experience of tremendous pain, I also experienced some great power,” he said. It also changed his approach to faith. He entrusted his life to God and drew even closer to Him.
