Who will be entitled to early retirement? Two conditions must be met
Each of the prepared projects assumes that two conditions must be met in order to retire early. The first one concerns seniority, and the second one is related to collecting the right amount of funds on the pension account in ZUS. According to the assumptions of “Solidarity”, a woman would have to have 35 years of service, and men 40 years, to apply for a job. On the other hand, in Andrzej Duda’s project, it is to be 39 years for women and 44 years for men. In the first case, retirement will be possible about 5 years earlier than at present, and in the second about 2 years earlier. However, not everyone will benefit from the changes. It is worth remembering that both projects are to apply only to farmers or people working full-time. Self-employed entrepreneurs will not be considered.
How much will the internship pension be? You must collect the appropriate amount of contributions
In addition to the relevant length of service, the condition related to the amount of contributions paid must also be met. You need to collect at least enough of them to be able to pay out the benefit in the amount of the currently established minimum old-age pension every month. At this point, it will be PLN 1588.44. According to “” calculations, a woman who would like to start receiving the benefit at the age of 55 would have to collect almost PLN 480,000 in savings from ZUS. However, if her account had PLN 600,000, she could count on a benefit of PLN 1,984.
