Taylor Swift closed the first part of her Eras Tour concerts in the United States at the SoFi Stadium Los Angeles with an announcement highly anticipated by the ‘fans’. Specifically, the American artist announced the release date of the fourth installment of his re-recording project ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’.
After playing some songs from his “1989” era live, the pop star walked to center stage with acoustic guitar in hand and let the crowd know he was up to something big. “Instead of telling you, we are going to show you”, she told the audience as the screen lit up behind her. “1989 (Taylor’s Version) available on October 27thhe exclaimed.
For three hours, the singer made the stadium vibrate and her fans dance with some of her hits to close the tour in her native country, but this means that she is one step closer to the Eras Tour in Europe that lands in Paris in May 2023 and which has a stop in Madrid, on May 30, 2024. However, the Pop star will have to go through the dates of South America, Asia, Oceania before getting on the stage of the Bernabeu Stadium.
The stadium, like the rest of the dates that have been witnessed on the tour, was full of her fans dressed up as the different eras of Taylor Swift. Some examples would be her pink dresses for her album “Lover” 2019 black leather and snakeskin prints for “reputation” from 2017, sequins and A-line skirts for 2014’s “1989” and we’ll have to wait until next year to see if this trend translates to European stages.
