“They confuse me, but I couldn’t say I’m the same”: the “clone” of the singer Servando Primera spoke

If the Venezuelan woman’s resemblance to the actor Tom Cruise attracted attention last February, the one the latter has with the singer-songwriter Servando Primera also became viral.

Alex Osorio lives in the state of Tachira (the Andes region of Venezuela and the border with Colombia) and says that he “rolled” through other entities in that country such as Aragua and Falcón, in the latter where Servando’s father, the well-remembered Ali Primera, b.

Osorio, who says he was a merchant all his life, also had to emigrate and settled in Chile for four years.

He returned to Venezuela in December 2022 and said that on @aleprimerovzla, his Instagram account, he started generating material to try to make people more empathetic.

He was also interested in getting help for vulnerable people, especially grandparents; he also publishes those humorous videos.

“There were similarities with Servanda, but I was not exposed”

He said of his resemblance to Servanda that “it’s been my whole life”, since he and Florentino were at Salserín, but “I was never exposed”.

However, when it was captured on video, many more people noticed the resemblance to the artist and “this madness started that even I don’t understand how it happened”.

Osorio, a digital content creator, spoke with journalist Shirley Varnagy, who also stated at the launch, “It’s identical, identical, they call it a clone of Servando Primera.”

“La locura,” as Osorio says, is two months old and as of August 7, 2023, had more than 62,600 followers on Instagram and more than 57,000 on TikTok.

He did not see Servanda in person

He confirms that he did not see Servando. “I know Servand and his brother as the artists they are, I admire them a lot, they are great artists and they left a legacy, a history, they are a national reference. I’ve never had any contact with them, I have no idea if they’ve seen the content, the material I’m working on”.

When Varnagy was asked if he himself noticed a resemblance to Servanda, he replied that he did not. “It’s been more than 20 years, when the boom of the Primera brothers started, people started confusing me, I watched the series, but I don’t see the resemblance, I don’t know how to explain it, I couldn’t say ‘yes, I’m the same’.

Currently dedicated to the auto parts trade, he points out that the love that people have given to Primera has served him well.

“Servand fans don’t believe me”

Osorio does not exclude that he will later have an initiative in which he will be more involved because of his resemblance to the artist. – I want to do something of quality.

In addition, from a physical point of view, there is a year difference between them. Servando is older. Osorio was born on August 24, 1981, and the singer on August 27, 1980.

He handled fame without being famous. There was no lack, and it still happens, of those who approach him at the airport, in a restaurant or in a cinema and ask “Servand” for a photo: “They don’t ask me if I am, they still don’t believe me; they take photos and leave happy”.
