Customizing your ice cream and seeing how it is made and churned is the attraction of Nice Laba, an ice cream shop that opened in mid-December 2016 in Laguna Plaza, on the way to the coast.

Two childhood friends went to study abroad and always said they would do the same when they returned to Ecuador. Then ideas began to be born, all innovative for the national market. And one of those projects that crystallized was Nice Lab, an ice cream shop with nitrogen.

Rahib Safady, one of the owners, says Nice Lab is about labs. “We focused on creating the wow factor! Every moment when clients enter one of our spaces should be a different experience. We decided to create a cool environment for everyone who visits us, including the work team.”

The main focus will always be quality at Nice Lab. “It helps us to have different products. And since the ice cream is instantly frozen and personalized by the customer, it makes it a unique product. Nitrogen helps us to get a special texture in ice cream that no other ice cream production process can achieve naturally like we do.”

Among the suggestions they have at Nice Lab are “fit” ice creams, which are made with almond milk and sweetened with stevia. This is a product with less than 100 calories per ice cream, without lactose and sugar. “The ice cream is aimed at people who want to take care of themselves, are vegan, have problems with diabetes, are allergic to casein or lactose intolerant.

Nice Lab can be transferred to different events such as birthdays, weddings, festivals in schools or companies.
