Alejandra Guzmán and Susana Zabaleta join ‘La Usurpadora, The Musical’

The musical film version of the iconic Mexican soap opera the usurper will have the participation of Mexican singers Alejandra Guzmán and Susana Zabaleta, in the project starring Isabella Castillo and Alan Estrada.

The Usurper, The Musical It is the “most ambitious” project of the production company Pantelion Films and The Lift Entertainment, according to a statement in which the beginning of the recordings of the story is announced.

This production follows the lives of two twin sisters, Victoria and Valentina —Separated at birth and never met—, whose abysmal differences are the result of the social context in which they lived.

One is a rich and bad person, while the other is poor and kind, but the meeting of these two women – both played by Castillo – will change the course of their lives.

For his part, the singer, youtuber and actor Alan Estrada will play Carlos Daniel, the male lead and romantic interest in the story.

The cast will be made up of great Mexican personalities from the world of acting and music such as Alejandra Guzmán, who will have a special participation in the film, and the renowned singer Susana Zabaleta.

Also, the singer Cecilia Toussaint will be part of the cast accompanied by the drag queen American Valentina, and Alejandra Ley, Shane West and Jesús Ochoa complete the rest of the cast.
