Every woman who decides to get married must be aware that from the moment she gets married, her and her husband’s lives will also be connected with their families, in particular with their in-laws. There is no doubt that both mom and dad will want to participate in the lives of their children and later take care of their grandchildren, which is why it is so important to maintain at least a neutral relationship with them. Unfortunately, it’s not always that simple. Our reader some time ago painfully found out that nurturing found out about it. As if that wasn’t enough, it all happened before the wedding.

“I enjoyed getting ready for the wedding until my mother-in-law wasn’t interested”

She and her fiancé’s mother had two completely different visions of what the wedding day should look like. When there was a confrontation and exchange of ideas, it almost always ended in an argument. According to the future bride’s account, her fiancé’s mother’s suggestions made her tired of organizing the most important day of her life. – I was enjoying the preparations for the wedding until the moment when my mother-in-law was not interested in it.

When she started asking for more and more details and at the same time imposing her opinion, I was devastated by her suggestions.

She asked about everything and constantly argued that she was right – writes Marlena in a letter to the editor, admitting that when her mother-in-law said she wanted to invite some of her friends to the wedding, the bride exploded.

“When my future husband talked to his mother-in-law, she said every time she didn’t think she was doing anything wrong.”

The bride-to-be admitted that conflicts arose almost every important decision. As if that was not enough, the mother-in-law even interfered with what is already ordered and reserved. She wanted to go and see the bride’s dress and threatened to let her choose the groom’s suit. She also suggested that she would like to go to wedding wine tastings because her family loves them and she simply has good taste. I was angry after every conversation. When my future husband talked to my mother-in-law, she always said she didn’t think she was doing anything wrong. Better, he claims that he has the right to do so – admitted Marlena, who does not hide that in the end the measure will change, and then she will take everything from her mother-in-law and will not look at whether it is appropriate.

And you, dear Internet users, what would you do in the place of the future bride?
