Those who had the opportunity to stay in Valencia in the second half of May and one day happened to be in the vicinity of one of the local fountains will surely remember this day for one more reason than the architecture and historic places. In the middle of the day, a dramatic situation occurred in one of the fountains, when a man tried to drown his woman. The recording shows the two of them standing in the middle of the fountain, the man is holding her with all his strength by the hair, is bent in half and cannot move. The whole scene was watched by a lot of people, some recording secretly, others trying to talk to the man and urging him to let go of the woman. He didn’t want to listen to anyone and became more and more aggressive.
If two strange men had not jumped into the fountain, it could have ended tragically
It started with the couple wanting to cool down in the water – we would like to remind you that in Poland this practice in public fountains is punishable by a fine of PLN 500. After entering the water, they wanted to take a photo together, right after that the squeaks and terrifying screams of a woman and random people began. The man suddenly began to drown the woman, at one point she could not catch her breath. There were a lot of volunteers who tried to talk to the man and calm the situation, but it did not work on the man. At one point, a stranger jumped into the water and wanted to help. Unfortunately, he offended the man and was hit by him several times. Nothing seemed to stop the aggressor. After a while, however, another man jumped into the fountain, and the two of them began to beat the man and choke him. Only then was the woman released. After all, it turned out that the reason why the man wanted to hurt his partner was the mobile phone. When the couple wanted to take a picture of themselves, a stranger appeared and offered to take it for them. The man gave him his phone, but he ran away. Upset, he assumed that she was involved and decided to take revenge. The police arrived at the scene, arrested the man and said that the case will be dealt with by the justice system.
