It turns out that removing saliva stains from dark bedding is not too difficult. Homemade tricks and products you may already have will help.
- Water and soap. Wet the stain with water, Apply a small amount of liquid soap to the stain and gently rub the stain with a soft brush. When done, rinse the soap with water and see if the stain is gone.
- Use the milk. Soak the stain in the liquid for a few minutes, rub it and rinse the remains of the product with water.
- Baking soda. Mix a small amount of baking soda with water to make a thick paste. Apply it on the stains, wait a few minutes and rinse with water.

After using home treatments, you can wash the bedding in the washing machine. However, you should remember to do it skillfully, thanks to which you will prevent its destruction and washing out of colors and it will last much longer.
- Turn the bedding inside out. Thanks to this, the colors of the material will be intense for longer.
- Wash in cold water. By using programs with this function, you will prevent the colors from washing out.
- Choose mild detergents. They should be adapted to colored fabrics and should not contain bleach or other brightening substances.
- Use vinegar instead of the softener. 1/2 cup is enough to keep the color for longer.
- Do not dry in the sun. The action can also cause the material to fade.
