Polish film conquers the global Netflix. But this is not the only national accent in the top

Every week, Netflix shares with its subscribers statistics regarding the viewership on the platform. This time, a Polish film made it to the Top 10 most popular titles.

“Keep Your Eyes Close. Barcelona” reigns among the most-watched foreign-language films on July 10-16. The sci-fi thriller expanding the universe of Sandra Bullock’s blockbuster hit over 16 million viewers. In second place was the French production “Smells of Fraud” with over six million viewers. The podium is closed by the Polish film – “Mr. Samochodzik and the Templars” by Antoni Nykowski. The adaptation of Zbigniew Nienacki’s novel was watched by over four million viewers.

However, this is not the end of Polish accents in the weekly Netflix list. The third season of “” created on the basis of Andrzej Sapkowski’s books was in the top of the most watched English-language series. The series came in second place on the chart with over six million viewers, second only to the following season of The Lincoln Lawyer which boasts over eight million viewers.

This week’s top of Netflix’s English-language movies kicks off with the action comedy In-laws Wanted, starring Adam Devin, Pierce Brosnan and Nina Dobrev. The film was turned on by almost 29 million viewers. In second place is the production of “65” with Adam Driver, who is trying to survive on a planet full of dinosaurs. The result of the video is almost seven million viewers. The podium is closed by the animation “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” with an audience of over five million.

When it comes to non-English series, the Korean “Smile of Fortune” caught the attention of Netflix subscribers. The episodic romantic comedy was watched by nearly five million viewers. The second place also belongs to proposals straight from South Korea. “Celebrity” was watched by over three million Netflix customers. The podium in the ranking is closed by the second season of the anime “Record of Ragnarok” from Japan with a score of three million viewers.
