TikTokthe Chinese social network for sharing short and vertical videos, has signed a music license agreement with Warner music to send your catalog to the apps and on the various services it offers, such as the music library, TikTok Music and the video editing application CapCut.

The platform, owned by ByteDance, has noted that this agreement “will increase the level of association, collaboration and innovation between the two companies” and that “deepen audience engagement of TikTok music fans”.

As the social network has indicated in the announcement, with this association with the record label artists and songwriters gain access to new ways to collaborate with brand partnersas well as new monetization features, merchandising and ticket sales, digital goods and services, details Europe Press.

This deal also includes TikTok musicthe premium subscription streaming service, which launched in Indonesia and Brazil in early July and is expected to roll out to other regions soon.

In addition, the agreement “also paves the way for Warner Music Group artists and songwriters to take advantage of unique promotional opportunities” and engage with the user community of TikTok’s video app, CapCut.
