In Bolivia, they arrest resellers who sold tickets to the premiere of the movie ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ at about $ 30

In several countries, fans lined up in long lines to get tickets to the film’s premiere.

The Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc) in Bolivia arrested four people this Wednesday for reselling at a price “oversizing” the tickets for the premiere of the movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, for which they have registered long lines starting at dawn in the cinemas of the country.

The deputy director of the Felcc, Juan José Donaire, informed the media that four people were detained in different places in the city of La Paz, including two minors who were reselling the tickets for the premiere of the long-awaited film.

Donaire explained that they found people in possession of more than a dozen tickets and that they were selling them at “oversized” prices.

According to the deputy director’s explanation, each ticket was being resold for about $ 30 when tickets cost about $ 7 at movie theaters.

Among those arrested is a 40-year-old woman who was waiting in the center of the city of La Paz for her buyers.

“The people who are with this intention of violating overstating prices or finally swindling that they are going to be the object of this type of intervention,” Donaire emphasized.

The people are accused of the crime of agio and were referred to the Public Ministry, in the case of minors they are in a specialized prosecutor’s office, according to local media.

He also warned that the Police are constantly monitoring through the “cybercrime” division and that there are also personnel at the sites to monitor that these events are not repeated.

“The intention is not to intervene with people, simply that people have citizen awareness and are not taking advantage of that need, especially young people who in some case want to attend this event,” said Donaire.

Since Monday, long lines have been registered at the box office of cinemas in the country to buy tickets for the premiere, which will be December 17.

Many of the fans decided to camp in the streets so as not to lose their space in line regardless of the rain and thus be able to buy a ticket.

The movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is the third film of the arachnid superhero with Tom Holland as the absolute protagonist. (I)
