When you once again have no idea what to watch on Netflix, it’s worth taking a look at the statistics below. PlumReaserch has published a list of series from 2023 that recorded the highest completion rate on the platform. It is these productions that viewers faithfully watch from beginning to end.

The amount of new series that appear on subsequent streaming platforms every now and then can overwhelm. Therefore, it is not surprising that some series viewers abandon after a few episodes or even seasons. Why waste time on unexciting productions when there are so many more to check out?

Netflix subscribers do not watch series to the end

Due to this frequent practice, the statistics of watching movies or series are not very reliable. It will be much wiser to look at those productions that have been watched by viewers to the end. In times of such a large and varied choice, fidelity to the title becomes of great importance.

Thanks to the analytical company PlumReaserch, we have access to such information. The study’s rule was that a “watched episode” of a show must be played for at least 70 percent of its total duration to be ticked off as complete in the statistics. What’s on Netflix has published a list of productions from 2023 and the end of last year that recorded the highest completion rate up to 90 days from release.

Here are the Netflix series with the highest completion rate

The second season of the family series “Ginny & Georgia” took first place with a score of 73.7 percent. The fourth season of “Turbulence”, a sci-fi drama about a world to which a plane lost years ago has returned, was not much worse (73.1 percent). The last place on the podium is occupied by the second season of “Firefly Lane” (70 percent), i.e. stories about Kate and Tully, in which betrayal broke into a long-term friendship.

The next places in the rate were taken by the third season of “Outer Banks” (66 percent), “Nocny Agent”, which enjoyed great popularity in Poland (59.6 percent), the fourth season of the show “Love Is Blind” (52.7 percent), the return of the Formans in the remake of “Różowe 90.” (49 percent), “Recruited” (48.4 percent) and “Unstable” with 42.7 percent.

One of the series with the highest completion rate on Netflix is ​​Stranger Things. 71.66 percent of viewers finished the first part of the fourth season of the series within the first seven days of its premiere. Another hit of the platform – “Sandman” did surprisingly poorly. The last episode of the first season of the series was watched by only 33.86 percent of US viewers.
