Krzysztof S. is a well-known Polish jazz composer, author of hits such as “It’s not a sin”, “Walk by the moon” or “This ordinary world of ours”. Over the years of a fruitful career, he has collaborated with the greatest jazzmen in our country, such as Zbigniew Namysłowski and Janusz Muniak. He gave concerts both in Poland and abroad.
Krzysztof S. accused of pedophilia. He faces up to 12 years in prison
In the early 1990s, the artist, together with his wife Liliana Urbańska, founded a children’s music band Tęcza and the Foundation Supporting Musically Gifted Children. The couple created TV shows for children and teenagers together, such as “Co jest grana?” Polsat and “Tęczowy Music Box” broadcast on TVP1.
In August 2019, the media circulated information about accusations against Krzysztof S. Investigative journalist Mariusz Zielke accused the creator of sexual abuse of minors. In November 2022, the Warsaw District Prosecutor’s Office discontinued the investigation in this case due to the statute of limitations, but in December of the same year the musician was charged with committing a crime. He allegedly committed a pedophile act in 2017 in Puławy during jazz workshops for children and youth.

On July 14, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw filed an indictment against Krzysztof S. As reported by RMF24, the spokesman said that sexual abuse of a person under the age of 15 threatens the musician with 2 to 12 years in prison. The allegations relate to the events of 2017.
Krzysztof S. pleads not guilty. The suspect also declined to comment on the case.
As on the Onet portal, there were more accusations against the musician, and some date back to the 1970s. We are talking about sexual harassment and rape. One person declared that Krzystof S. had intercourse with her when she was 12 years old, another that he “took her to the cinema for adult films” when she was not yet an adult.
