The word «ludic» has the implicit meaning of ‘play’; therefore the expression “playful games” is superfluous.

And the expression “recreational playful games”, which is also often used, is more redundant than the previous one; for “recreational” refers to something that produces recreation, and this surname denotes “pleasure, diversion, or amusement”; that is, depending on the context, it is also equivalent to ‘game’.

Instead of “playful games” and “recreational playful games” other constructions such as «recreational activities», «recreational workshops», «recreational exercises», «recreational practice».

If the linguistic environment is clear, just saying “a crust” conveys the idea of ​​”a piece of bread.” However, if the context is ambiguous, the expression “a crust of bread” should be used, to avoid “crust” being taken with its other meaning: “rude, stupid, fat”.

If someone claims to never “shut the fuck!” said, he’s probably lying. This expression comes easily when the environment becomes heated, irritating or inflamed. It is harsh and insulting language, the aggressive tone of which rises precisely when redundancy is introduced.

By “quiet!” the recipient will surely understand that they should shut up or stop talking. But it is pointed out that the omission of redundancy decreases the intensity of the imperative. And it decreases much more when other words are added, for example: “shut up, please”, “shut up”, “shut up and listen to me”.
